Chelsea Brisco, BFA, RMT
As a Registered Massage Therapist since 2015, Chelsea’s approach is attentive and sensitive to each patient's particular needs. With a trauma-informed and evidence-based practice, she has developed a special interest in the meeting place of persistent pain conditions, trauma, mental health, and physical well-being in addition to pregnancy and postpartum massage. Emphasis is placed on the creation of a safe space that is inclusive and welcoming. Chelsea believes that a safe healing touch has a powerful role to play in our lives and she is continually thrilled and awed by the ability of the human body to adapt, to strengthen, and to heal.
Chelsea has found that treatment need not be painful to be effective and longer lasting results often come when promoting and enhancing the body’s natural healing inclination. This is often achieved through a subtle approach with the goal of decreased pain and stress and an improvement in overall well-being.
Treatments are customized to the individual. Patients’ needs are addressed through a variety of techniques intended to achieve long-term health – whether that means relief from pain, rehabilitation after an injury or surgery, or assisting lifestyle and exercise goals. You will also be provided with a relevant homecare routine in the form of strengthening, stretching, and/or habitual changes to facilitate your road to health. Chelsea encourages her patients to play an active role in this process, and will regularly refer to other modalities to be used in concert with massage therapy, believing that the most effective therapy is a team effort.
Mary Tammadge, BA, RMT
Hello! I’m Mary, a Registered Massage Therapist with over 14 years of experience in both clinic and spa settings across BC and Ontario. I graduated from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria in 2010 and recently spent 7.5 years practicing at Reach Health in Sidney, BC.
Before becoming an RMT, I earned a BA in Kinesiology and spent several years tree planting and traveling, which instilled in me a deep appreciation for nature and physical well-being. I’m thrilled to now call the Comox Valley home, and I look forward to exploring the outdoors and becoming an active member of this beautiful community.
My approach to massage therapy is integrative and patient-centered. I strive to create a calm, relaxing environment while focusing on your unique therapeutic goals. Whether you are seeking relief from chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or simply looking to unwind, I work with you to tailor each treatment to your needs.
I use a variety of techniques, including deep tissue, Swedish massage, range of motion work, stretching, and fascial techniques. I recognize that each person responds differently to pressure, so I’m happy to adapt my approach—whether you prefer firm pressure or a lighter touch. Together, we’ll find the balance that works best for you.
I believe in building strong therapeutic relationships and offering personalized homecare advice to support your long-term well-being. It’s my goal to help you feel more resilient, relaxed, and empowered in your body.

Alexia Birosh, RMT
My name is Alexia Birosh, and I have been a Registered Massage Therapist since May 2017.
It is most important to me to provide a safe, and judgment-free treatment space. My goal with each patient is to help reduce pain and dysfunction while increasing relaxation and overall wellness. I endeavor to incorporate relaxation into all my treatments, as I feel that it is a very important part of the healing process.
I use a variety of techniques incorporated with general Swedish massage, to create a relaxing yet effective treatment. I am currently interested in exploring lymphatic drainage, and the effects of more gentle application of treatments.
When I am not at work, I enjoy being outdoors in the garden or exploring this beautiful Valley, on bike or foot, with my family. Nutrition and cooking are my passions, I am often in the kitchen, creating new recipes.
I look forward to creating long-term patient relationships and working together with patients to create balance in their body and life, through massage and patient education.
For your information, I am still wearing a mask for treatments, and my treatment space is a fragrance-free zone.
